Thakur Doultani, an architect by profession is better known for his forays into the world of music as singer ‘Krishna’. Initially, he met with greater success as an architect and designed aesthetic bungalows for film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Rajendra Kumar besides Mumbai’s Oberoi Complex and Lokhandwala Complex (Andheri West). Later, his ultimate dream of being a singer was also realised when he recorded over 100 songs with co-singers Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sadhana Sargam, Penaz Masani and others in 10 albums. He has also consistently sung on Doordarshan since 1992.

Thakur Doultani is a Gold Medalist, former President of Lions Club International, and an Awardee as an “Architect of the year 2000”. He also served as the President of All India Filmgoers Association and has got eleven awards of appreciation for excellence in music from various Institutes.
Also known as Krishna, his passion for singing has been purely expressive of his romanticism of life, a venture which has created a parallel path along with his professional inclination.
In the music world, he has recorded over 100 songs along with co-singers like Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sadhna Sargam, Sapna Mukherjee, Penaz Masani, Usha Timothy, Garima and Zeba Kazi. He is also credited with 10 Music Albums, Afsane Zindagi Ke, Nazrana, Chaudhvi Ka Chand, Zindagi Ki Aarzoo, Shukriya, Dil Ki Awaaz, Pyar Ka Paigaam, Deewangi, Nazar and Aye Mere Humsafar. He has appreared on Doordarshan several times during last two decades
